Security Management and System Recovery
Securing your computers and networks and recovering from disasters should be planned side by side. Network threats are introduced as malicious threats that can exploit antivirus and firewall software installed on your systems. Unfortunately, the primary ways in which malicious software attacks are introduced to our systems are through Internet browsing and e-mail. We often don’t realize our systems have been compromised until it is too late.

System Recovery is the ability to resume your business with reliable data, in a timely manner, in the event of a computer failure, building catastrophe, or natural disaster. Services required to recover your systems include reliable, frequent backups and offsite storage.

For help developing your Security management and recovery strategy, contact the Office of Information Systems below.
